However, due to private life grounds, there were compelling reasons for him not to be removed. The client was granted leave to remain based on his family life in the UK.
Conducted judicial review proceedings challenging the Home Office’s decision to revoke a client’s Indefinite Leave to Remain. The client had previously been granted refugee status and had lived in the UK for 15 years. The revocation decision was overturned.
Challenged the Home Office’s decision to curtail the client’s immigration status and issue removal directions. Immigration enforcement officers alleged that the client had breached work restrictions and detained the client at their workplace. Following strong representations, the client was released without any further action being taken.
